Thank you so much to Anastasia (my dust team swap partner) for these awesome cards and tags. I’m always amazed at the generosity and creativity of my swap partners and it’s such a wonderful thrill to get mail! I really love Anastasia’s cards, it’s a great time to buy for Fathers Day and Christmas so head over and check out her wares at Percival Road. You can find out more from Anastasia’s blog.

I feel like it’s my birthday all year long when I get my Dust Team swap package, it’s so special and lovely. I had a crap day yesterday, really frustrating, nothing seemed to be working but when I got home a wee package was waiting for me from Kathy of Secret Jewellz and how sweet …

Aren’t those humming birds just adorable? Kathy’s jewellery is really beautiful so have a look at her etsy shop and her blog. Thanks so much Kathy.
I am on the home stretch with the winter baby blankets, I was wondering if perhaps they might end up being for next winter at this rate. However have a gander at this one, it’s the Joel Dewberry ‘Deer’ fabric mentioned previously and turned out pretty swell, don’t cha think? Available in my Made It store.

I swear my photo’s are awful lately, I’m really trying but it may be this winter light. I’ll say it again, I want a photography studio. Photo’s of products are hard, I think I need to do some research and get some knowledge about this. Next post.

Here she is, poor Judy (my dressmaker dummy) I made her wear a green skivvy which i actually love and wear myself. She really is a bit run down so I had to cover her up. And here is the Paisley Apron I am giving away for May. You have until May 26th to enter and I will anounce the winner May 27 which is my gorgeous mum’s birthday.
To enter please leave a comment and because I sometimes think it is hard to know what to say in these things I am posing a question instead – just answer “What is the best birthday present you have ever recieved?”. I was going to do worst but you might hurt someones feelings, however you can include that if you like.

Look what I got! I have just done a swap through Etsy Dust Team and received a wonderful, generous parcel of gorgeousness from Liz at Hundreds of Buttons today. And she also included a gift for Mia which was extremely thoughtful and very well received so thank you so much Liz!!! I hope you like your gift as much.

My favourite piece from Liz is the button bouquet, it’s all Dr. Seuss-y. (did you know that Seuss is pronounced so it rhymes with voice – try it, it’s good, my kids hate it when I tell them that every time we are near anything Dr.Suess).

Speaking of lovliness, have a look at these stunning and clever creations from Adele at DELicious Designz.

I love the idea of food stuff in jewellery and the dog tags are great. The pendants and dog tags are made from spoons! Has anyone ever swallowed something weird? Mia swalled a hot pink platform Barbie shoe when she three. We never saw it again but then again we never looked for it either! I’ve never done anything like that. Rick’s mum swallowed some gladwrap once…mmmm. Okay I’m doing two posts tonight because we are going away on Sunday to an Eco Lodge to bushwalk, plant trees, look at the moon and eat in a communal kitchen! Help me! We’re hoping it will be relaxing but I am a bit scared to be honest. We should be back in 5 days, if I never write another post (after the one I am just about to write, that’s dumb because you already read that one, because it’s up there, right?) anyway please tell someone to come looking for me!
