These giveaways are fun so I’m up for another one. It’s Ankle Marcs (Henry used to say Ankle instead of Uncle) birthday on June 6 however I’ll let this one run until June 30 and I will post the winner on July 1. No apron this time, I’ve whipped up two wee cushion covers from some epic cactus fabric I got from Ikea. I will include the inserts as I don’t think you should have to spend money when you win something. Ignore my dirty floor and rubber bands under chair please.
To enter just leave a comment before June 30 with the title of your favorite cookbook. I’ll start, mine is the classic Edmonds with the epic afghan biscuit recipe.
These giveaways are for Australian residents only as the postage o/s kills me!
By the way “epic” is the latest word meaning awesome at Mias’ school, you can say “He’s an epic lad.” that’s good or “He’s a sweater.” that’s not good or “He’s an epic sweater lad.” we don’t know what that means! Just keeping you up to date.

I am always using my “CURRY IN A HURRY” book – by Jackie Passmore. Cooked lamb in a creamy spinach curry sauce tonight…mmmm
Thanks for your comment Del, creamy spinach sauce sounds really good. When all the entries are in I’ll make a list with some links so we can all enjoy the yummy-ness..
My favorite cookbook is called “secret mens business” and has a totally black cover and back. It’s a book written by two “blokes” and has recipes in it like apricot chicken, and sausages with mash – pretty standard stuff – I bought it for my husband but he has never used it. My other fave is Bernhard Kings 1978 edition cookbooks. Everypage has a recipe with is name on it – eg: devils on horseback a la King etc…with pics of him sipping port by the fire with a laso apso on his lap. Genius….
Ah yes, Apricot Chicken, I remember it well! And Bernanrd King – what a classic! I sometimes wish I could sit by the fire with a laso apso and a glass of port…Thanks kelly
Where did you find that chair?
Its amazing!
Hey Marc, we got the chair/s (six chairs and table) from ebay, we had it sent up from Sydney and it was cheaper than buying it local.
I can’t lie…my favourite is also definitely the Edmonds cookbook. The chocolate coconut brownies are really incredible…have you tried them yet? So yummy…you’ve inspired me! I’m going to make some this weekend!
