Can i ask my car insurance company to administrate a lie detector test to a witness i believe he lied?

I have a car accident that was the other driver’s fault, yet since he presented a witness, i am being unfairly treated. Can i demand from the car insurance company to administrate a lie detector test to that witness?
thanks for your help
No… but usually witnesses are listed on the police report so people can’t go back and have one of their friends do this very thing. Was the witness on the police report?

It’s not going to happen unless you pay for it yourself. Those tests aren’t cheap and neither his nor your insurance company are going to pay for it themselves.

no. you cannot force someone to take a lie detector test. especially in a car wreck.

you can demand all you want,,,won’t get you much….the "witness" is not being charged or arrested…and they would have to volunteer…good luck

Polygraph tests cannot be forced on anyone.

A lie detector test doesn’t prove anything. They are not 100% and are not admissible in court.

Doubt your company will pay for that.
Also you cannot compel someone to take that sort of test.

No the insurer will not pay for such a thing, even if the witness were to agree to it which is EXTREMELY unlikely. Even if they did agree to it and failed it’s still not admissible in court, which means it would be an exercise in futility.
