Insurance companies, doctors, politicians and statisticians all realise how dangerous super bikes are?

July 17, 2010 - 4:47 pm 3 Comments

Why are small engine manufacturers still building engines for a motorbike that are bigger than car engines ?

Well for a start these Superbike engines are far more efficient that car engines of similar size. Plus i don’t remeber that any of the ten commandments saying "THOU SHALT NOT SPEED R DO THE 1/4 MILE IN LESS THAN 11SECONDS ON A PRODUCTION MOTOR CYCLE..And who was the doctor in the USA who famously said that "when summer comes around we have a ready supply of organ donors thanks to motorcyclists"………And if everyone rode motorcycles to work -imagine having no traffic jams heaps of parking and finally think of the environmental savings that motorcycles represent they use far less materials to produce and use less fuel too…And car drivers hate the idea of their $280,000 car been blown away by a 10 year old $3000 motorcycle from the lights ..,,,…..

After all the garbage Health insurance companies have put patients through?

July 17, 2010 - 4:42 pm 16 Comments

why care if they would not be able to compete? And why is free enterprise more important than patients not going bankrupt and getting the care they need?

Would ending competition among health insurances affect development of medicine or would it remain the same?
"Kiss all medical innovation goodbye"

How so?
We’re talking about health insurance companies, how would ending competition among them halt development of medicine?

My Health Insurance is great. I have Kaiser and pay $75 bucks a month plus $20 dollar co-pay and I’m set.

I had life saving surgery last year and I was treated like a king in the hospital.

My bill was $380,000 for open heart surgery and I paid $2,400 for all the co-pays and prescriptions.

No company can compete against the government, the government does not have to make a profit or pay taxes and can print their own money, private companies cannot.

90% of all patents, innovation, and development comes from the private sector not government.

Will Leiberman answer to his God for all the cancer victims he left to greedy insurance companies? Death Angel?

July 17, 2010 - 4:42 pm 8 Comments

I would respect Leiberman if he had a constant position.

But Leiberman vomitted out his mouth how much he wanted a Medicaid Buy In Plan at age 55 up until the last few days.

Now, Leiberman has crowned himself the Death Angel killing Health Care Reform and stripping down the Health Care Reform Bill to a simple mandate to buy overpriced policies from arrogant insurance policies who refuse to pay when they are needed most.

Joe, I thought it was Hannukah not Passover?,

He should be so proud, bet the insurance companies have rewarded him amply enough.*

do all insurance companies for dogs just insure the dog up until the age of 7 years?

July 17, 2010 - 4:42 pm 7 Comments

a while back my mam was telling me that pet insurance companies for dogs only insure the dog up to the age of 7. why is that. i mean loads of dogs live longer than 7 years
all of my dogs are insured with ‘pet plan’ my oldest dog is 5 years old

It depends on the insurance provider & the plan you opt for.

My Dobermanns are insured with Pet Plan on their cover for life policy. This means that as long as I pay the premiums, my dog will be insured until the day it dies.

When the dog becomes a senior, usually 7 years old, but can be 5 depending on the breed, the excess [amount you pay for each illness] does increase & you pay a % of the claim amount.

I would always choose to insure my dogs.

Do all auto insurance companies check with your DMV for your driving record?

July 17, 2010 - 4:42 pm 6 Comments

I got some minor accident on my record, something like bumping into someone and leaving a dent, I don’t even really remember it was like 4 years ago. Anyway, this car was a rental that I dented and a very expensive one at that, ended up being 2500 to fix even though I could have popped the dent out for free. But because of this incident, state farm and geico are charging me out the wazo because I’m a 20 year old male with speeding tickets and this accident thing that happened a long ass time ago. The difference without the accident on there is amazing, so I’m trying to find a place that will ignore this thing that happened in SEP of 04. Anyone know of a place? Thank you.
Yeah unfortunately taking a defensive driving course in Virginia won’t get you anywhere.

Insurance companies are entitled to see three years back on your driving record, by the dates you give, that means this accident will drop off your record in September 07. At that point, your rates will drop. Bear in mind, males under the age of 25, pay higher rates than the norm, so driving responsibly is in your best interest, money wise. If the accident was alcohol related, the accident can stay on record for ten yrs. All alcohol offenses stay that long. Employers are entitiled to see five years back on your record, so if you have a job where you drive a company vehicle, or you are a driver, like UPS or FEDEX, you will want to keep your record as clean as possible.

Do all republicans work for big oil companies or health insurance companies?

You found us out, we all own oil companies…..

….we are all filthy stinking rich.

Just don’t tell anyone, this is suppose to be a secret.

What is wrong with having a huge, nationwide list of insurance companies which all individuals, all businesses?

July 17, 2010 - 4:37 pm 6 Comments

large and small can buy from and cannot be denied nor dropped? That way people can work where they want instead of because of insurance issues. It seems that repubs may have mentioned this, but they need to add no denying nor dropping people. Let’s do this and call it a day!
Or why not churches to be part of a large pool, or small businesses being able to be part of a large pool. It is like they want the large companies to have all the power regarding access to health insurance. Why should that be the case?

Agreed, but that’s too easy, so The Right won’t let it through…..besides, no $$$ in it either.

Are all the banks and insurance companies tanking?
