Compare The Meerkat Advert NEW (Compare The Market), Cheap Car Insurance

Compare The Meerkat (comparethemeerkat.com) advert which advertises the price-comparison website, Compare The Market (comparethemarket.com).

This is the new shorten advert!

Compare The Market.com compares prices on a number of items including car insurance, home insurance, as well as credit cards, loans and mortgages.

It aims to give you the cheapest quote from a number of big companies, including the AA, the Post Office and HSBC.

The reason for this advert is the constant mis-spelling of Compare The Market, with users inputting Compare The Meerkat instead.

The advert features a russian meerkat called Alexsandr (somtimes spelt as Alexander) who is the founder of Compare The Meerkat. He complains about the number of cheaper car insurance requests and plays the jingles for both of them.

On his website, you can compare meerkats by size, their favourite hobbies and their location.

Certainly one of the best advertising campaigns in recent time. But remember, if you want cheap car insurance, it’s CompareTheMarket.com.

Question about automobile accident and automobile insurance ?

My wife was in a car accident on Friday. A car tee boned her in the side, totalling her vehicle. She was injured somewhat, but didn’t have life threatening injuries. She was looking through her insurance information and realized that her insurance had expired. Her car is a total loss and the woman that hit her got a citation. The woman that hit my wifes car was ok and she did show a current updated insurance card. My wife wasn’t cited for no insurance or anything.

What will happen in this predicament ? Will the other insurance company pay for my wifes vehicle ?
Will the other womans insurance pay for the ER visit ?

I have never been in this position before and I’m at a loss for words to be honest. I wouldn’t be asking this question, had my wife of had a current insurance policy.

I told my wife that she may be out of a car and the insurance COULD ( in all possibility ) deny her claim and NOT pay for ANY damages…but I’m not certain about it.

The woman admitted fault to the police officer who arrived on the scene.

* Note : I am honestly embarrassed to be in a situation like this and I can’t believe that it happened the way it did, so please keep that in mind when answering this question. Can you also provide facts based on your answer. Thanks and have a good day.

Driving without valid insurance is a crime, but is has "zero" effect on the issue of liability in an accident. If the other woman was the at fault driver then she (and, indirectly, her insurance carrier) is liable for your wifes damage and medical bills.

Automobile Insurance Question…?

I was involved in a accident a bicyclist was riding on the wrong side of the road & on the sidewalk. I was pulling out of my dentist office and she ran into my tire.

I got the police report and she was at fault. However, my insurance company claimed me at fault until they rec’d the police report & then put me a 50% at fault.

This is the insurance company telling me I am 50% and the police report saying she is at fault.

Does the insurance company have to give me information regaurding the settlement to her? I never rec’d any information from Geico.

Insurance Companies are famous for seeing things in the light that allows them to raise their rates.

Try calling and explaining the situation, if you don’t get satisfaction, get a supervisor on the phone.

Consider an attorney, (they have their purposes, this may well be one of them)

You might also consider another insurance company, who’ll listen to you, (or at least read the police report)

I was in an automobile accident and the other person insurance hasn’t done anything for me and they only want to pay part of it and they wont provide me with a rental car. when it was totally their fault. Where do I find laws on insurance companies and georgia statues on what they have to do? anywebsites or resources would help

If I were you I would contact the Insurance Commissioner’s office or the Department of Insurance (not sure which it would be called in GA) about that. You’ll probably have to file a written complaint. You didn’t tell us enough for us to comment as to whether the insurance company is doing you right or wrong.

Texas Automobile Insurance?

I got hit by someone else. Their insurance is not providing total cost up front for a rental car while mine is in the shop. I was not at fault. The Insurance carrier is Farmer’s Insurance. They said to pay the difference of the rental, and they would reimburse.

My understanding by an insurance facilitator at my old company is that if the fault was not yours, then the insurance company has to accommodate you with full pay for the rental car for a comperable vehicle to the one that was damaged.

Anyone have any knowledge of the law, and links where I can find out the info?

Something doesn’t sound right with that. If it were your insurance providing the rental car then it would be limited based on your policy but this should not be subject to the limits in your policy.

I have not heard of this happening before. I have always seen the at fault party’s insurer provide a rental car at no out of pocket cost to the claimant. You should tell them that you expect them to pay for the entire price of the rental car or you will file a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance for unjust treatment.

If an automobile accident is my fault, can I still present a claim against the other person’s insurance?

I recently backed into a large truck with my little Dodge Omni. The damage to the truck was merely a cracked tail-light, but my tail-light was completely shattered and back driver’s side corner of my car was dented in really badly.

At first I assumed I would have to cover the repairs to my car myself, since it was my fault. But I have since received a letter from the other guy’s insurance company which vaguely stated that they acknowledge receipt of my claim and that i should keep my expenses to a minimum. I took this to mean that his insurance would cover the damage to my car after all. The thing is, I’ve been unable to get in touch with his insurance agent to find out how to proceed.

I’d like to just get the car fixed and then mail them the receipt for reimbursement. The thing is, if they’re not going to cover my expenses, I wouldn’t bother getting the body work done. The Omni’s days are numbered anyway, so I’d just fix the light.

What should I do?

There is no reason for the other policy to pay for repairs after an accident that is your fault. You probably received a form letter. I would read it again carefully, because it doesn’t sound like an agreement to pay, just letting you know they are looking at the circumstances.

Should I let my Auto insurance or an attorney handle an automobile personal injury case.?

Which do you think would be the best in this case. Would I have to pay less- if anything- if my automoblie insurance company settled this for me instead of an attorney that would get 35 percent ? I’m the plantiff (person injured) and the other person was cited for failing to maintain his lane. I’m in sooooo much pain right now and need some help.

NO WAIT!!! get a lawyer. the insurance company will offer to give you 3000 to go away. so you sign their paper and go away.

The hospital calls the INS company who says too bad but he has already sighed the paper and his friend was 18 and was the witness. we gave him3000 dollars and they left so always let your law er do the talking he can get 85,000 for your team, he will take 25000 for sure but you will get the rest in cash and they have to pay for all your medical so you get no Bills and when you get home and recoup a little you can start looking for the house you are gong buy
