Where can I find a reputable Life Insurance Company/Policy?

July 17, 2010 - 1:36 am 5 Comments

I’m a single mother and I’m trying to locate a life insurance company that offers a low monthly premium and list my children (ages 5 and 8) as a beneficiary. I’m aware that most companies offer the benefits at ages 18-25. I want to provide these benefits for my kids if something should happen to me!

Your best bet is to consult with an insurance professional. All the major life insurance companies are reputable. I would avoid anything on line. An insurance professional will work out something for you within your budget and explain how to list your children as beneficiaries. They do not have to be adults to be listed on your policy.

Have you had a good or bad experience with a life insurance company? Explain?

I am thinking about buying accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Good or bad idea? Have you had any good or bad experience with any life insurance companies? Denied claims? Fine Print? If so, please explain and tell me which company.

Thanks!

If someone depends on you financially, you should get a life insurance policy, which covers death by any cause, accident or illness. Term insurance has never been cheaper. Go to www.term4sale.com to get an idea of what it’s going to cost. Then, find a competent licensed agent to help you get the lowest premium from a quality company (A+ rated or better). Applying online is OK, but you’ll get better service from a licensed agent, especially if there are any difficulties with your application.

Creating a Life Insurance Company or Buying a LifeInsurance Company?

July 17, 2010 - 1:36 am 2 Comments

Does anyone here know about how to form a life insurance company? What does the process consist of? Is it easier and cheaper to buy an existing company that has been poorly managed?
This is what you consider an answer? Hope you got deep pockets? I am doing research for a college paper. I am not creating a life insurance company.

As to the formation, I do not know. However, the amount of capital needed to form a legal reserve company is quite large.

Also need to determine if you will be selling cash value or just term policies. You require much less money for cash value policies (upon claim, the cash value gets handed back to the insurance company).

It would be cheaper to get a partner and purchase an existing company that was poorly managed, however, you would still need a large set of cash.

What is a good life insurance company?

My husband and I are in our late 20’s and want to get a life insurance, but are not sure what company is good. Is there one that anyone recommends?

Contact an insurance broker in your area. EVERY company is a little different depending on the amount of coverage, where you live and various other thing. They are not all the same by any means. An insurance broker will be able to shop around and can make sure that you are getting the best price vs. value on the market and go over the differences between companies (which are good and which are bad).

FYI, cheaper is not always better either. Proof: Toys made in China are cheaper, however they use (or used to use) lead based paint and made babies and kids VERY sick and even die becuase of lead posioning. I’d rather pay an extra couple bucks for a good product that will not cause any potential harm.

PS: Anyone that tells you to not get one product over another (IE: avoid whole life) based on the limted information you need, if giving a completely ignorant, factless answer. No offense to Mr. Perfect, but there is absolutely no way that you can recommend a product without knowing the need. While term is a good product, it is not a one size fits all product that can be used in EVERY situation. What is the only reason this person wants to get insurance is to leave their kids or a charity that is close to their heart with a pile of cash as an act of pure kindness no matter when they pass away? Just because something is not always 100% NECCESSARY, doesn’t mean it’s completely useless. Whole Life is there for a specific need. While it is more expensive, saying it is up to 9 times more expensive is a rare circumstance that it is that much higher…and commission %’s work out the same with MANY companies. You can’t fit a square peg in a round hole. Different situations call for different products and without knowing the need(which we don’t!) there is no way anyone can make a remoted educated recommendation to this person.

Which are the best reliable life insurance company?

I am looking for a competitive life insurance offer from a top-rated company. I am an expat working in Saudi Arabia.

Lots of luck getting life insurance if you’re working in the Middle East right now.

Get your competitive quotes first, then you can check the rating at www.ambest.com, but the quotes should also indicate the AM Best rating.

Correction; Need to know if there is a way to find the company her Aunt had a life insurance policy with?

July 17, 2010 - 1:31 am 6 Comments

My friends Aunt is now deceased, and she told her about a policy
She did not get around to showing or telling her the name. There is no paper work in the house
for her to go on? Would she need to call every life insurance company or is there one specific place she can go to in order to locate this information?

lifeinsurance.awardspace.info – try this one. I have their insurance and, as remember, they can provide such a service.

Does anyone know of a good life Insurance Company without medical exams?

July 17, 2010 - 1:27 am 1 Comment

Does anyone know of a good life Insurance Company without medical exams, and one that will allow you to get back all your paid premiums at the end of the term, if there is such a thing like that? Also one that want drop you when your term comes to close just because you got very sick 10, 15, 20 years later.

Thanks

In my experience with insurance companies that doesn’t do medical exams, they tend to have very strict rules in their policy. For example, your health status must not change throughout the term of the policy. In most cases, there is no guarantee they will ever pay out (but they won’t say that to you. You have to read the policy to find that fact out).

There is a term insurance that returns your premium and thats called ROP Term Insurance. This will cost more than a traditional level term insurance. These types of policies also have strict rules such as you must not miss any premiums or the amount you will get back will decrease or the policy will terminate without you getting anything back. Basically how this policy works is that the company will take your premiums and invest it so that they can actually pay all or some of the premiums back to you at the end of the term. Most ROP Term insurance policies build cash value as well.

I would just get a regular term insurance and invest the difference yourself. The amount of savings you will build will be far greater than the total amount you have paid into the term at the end of the policy.
