which companies does progressive.com compare auot quotes?
do they compare the big ones like liberty mutual, state farm, allstate, geico, esurance, etc?
They give "quotes" from State Farm, AllState, Nationwide. BUT, what you need to realize is that it is a scam! Each company has its own rates – how those rates are calculated is proprietary information – which means that you better believe no one at progressive has the ability to run accurate quotes for those companies. They make themselves look go by doing it, but you are hurting yourself by not doing the shopping yourself. I can certainly tell you I have done quite a few quotes of people who got progressive quotes with State Farm always being higher – and beat Progressive’s price. It doesn’t happen all the time, and SF may not be the lowest for you, but you really need to do the work yourself.
