I don’t know if the insurance companies actually check the grades i send them or not. I would like to know.
They look at your report card. Yes, a real live underwriter actually looks at the report card, before approving the good student discount.

Most of the time they give you something for the school to fill out.

With my daughter, I had to send a form to the school. They filled it out and sent it right to the ins co.
If it did not have the college seal on it, it was not accepted. They do check.

Most of the time a adjuster looks at it. He will not call the scholl and verify. They have way too paperwork to push.

They may or may not. But… if they rated you based on information you supplied on the application, and that information turns out to be a blatant lie, your insurance may be invalidated when there is a major claim. …. So they probably won’t check on your grades. But if you get into an accident and get sued for $500,000 or more (which happens all the time), you can bet they will check every item and verify everything on your application. ….and you will end up with no insurance and a $500,000 bill to pay for the rest of your life. So….. be straight write the truth.

they are not able to verify your grade unless they send a letter to the school to verify, they are not allowed to call since the school wont give that information out, I have many years of experince in the insurance industry and I have never heard of a insurance compnay verifiying your grades, they wil usually give you a form for the school to fill out or request a copy of your transcript check out globalwideinsurance. com for auto rates

When you submit for the discount based on grade eligibility they will have you sign a form giving them permission to obtain a transcript from your college. The transcript has all of your grade information. That transcript will be verified by the underwriter of the policy. If you lie about your grades it can be considered fraud and the policy can be declared null and void under insurance law. Not to mention you are committing a crime, because it is considered insurance fraud. It’s not worth it! Be truthful and upfront or it can bite you in the end.
