Are the insurance and drug companies the most powerful force in America?

Who actually runs this country, the insurance companies have got it seems every politician including some of those on the Democratic side in their pockets, the amendment to bulk buy drugs from Canada has been quashed to appease these bastards, in which America pays more than anyone in the western world, and Canadians pay less while their buying power is a tenth of US population.
What is going on in this country!!!

No, they are very powerful. But the most powerful are the banks….I mean we just gave them the greatest bailout in history at the cost to the tax payer. In reality, they should have all gone to prison, just like the Enron crowd did….They caused this crisis and then they get rewarded?! BTW, the insurance companies are OWNED by the banks.
