Will my insurance company find out that I crashed my work vehicle?

I crashed my work vehicle into another car. I have the option to pay cash, but my employer has now let me go.
Whose insurance will pay for the accident? Mine or my employers? Will my auto-insurance find out and jack my rate up?

not quite
You were working for a company at the time of the accident so the company insurance will deal
with it however…
if you have been a company vehicle driver and you had an accident you have to disclose it to any new insurance company, failure to do so can result in your insurance being voided in the event of a claim

If your work vehicle was owned by your employer, I’ll assume that it was covered under your employer’s insurance policy. That being the case, if you were operating your vehicle on company business when the accident occurred, you would have been covered under your employer’s insurance policy.
Your own personal insurer probably won’t be involved in this. As a result, your personal insurance costs won’t be affected. However, an exception might occur if you were cited by the police for the accident.

I’ve been rear-ended 3 times while driving my work vehicle. My personal insurance carrier was never involved, just my company’s.
