anyone know how i can research a psychologist?

Due to my insurance I am basically stuck picking a name blindly from my provider directory. Does anyone know of a site where they do psychologist reviews or any other place I may get some background on the one I made an appointment with? There is no info on the insurance companies site and i did several searches and nothing came up. thanks.

apa.org or contact the medical board in your state. They will be able to give you some info.

apa.org is a good place to start but you can also ask your regular doctor. they should be able to help you with your research.
