You’ll be much better off if you go to a local independent agent. This person will know the market and will be able to guide you to a proper policy if you have pre-existing conditions. The premium going through an independent agent is the same as getting quotes on the web.

Great, so you’ll get a really low priced health insurer – that no providers in your area will take.
Honestly, you’re better off going to your local agent (start with your car insurance guy!) and getting quotes from someone who knows who your area provider takes!
