Do you need liability insurance on fitness DVDs?

I might make a fitness DVD and will use a disclaimer. Does my limited liability company still need to carry liability insurance in case someone sues?
Only if you get sued.
Of course, by then it’s too late to buy it.

Anyone can sue anyone for anything. It’s a good idea. Ask the insurance agent to get a disclaimer wording that the insurance company will accept. (It won’t be cheap, in any case.)

Yes, no store or vendor will sell it unless your insured and can show evidence. Unfortunately it’s a fact of life in business.
Stream online insurance free to see if people like it first.

Disclaimer is meaningless and won’t save you should a lawsuit occur. Unless someone signs a waiver giving up their rights to sue you have an exposure, and I duobt anyone is going to want to buy the DVD if they have to sign a waiver in order to buy it. Yes your limited liability company needs to carry liability insurance.
